In this hot summer we usually crave for ice-creams, cool drink or juices to beat the summer heat.
Ever since this lockdown mom's are struggling alot to prepare a variety of dishes for their family. All her hard work pays off with just a small smile and appreciation from her family.
But some time we need to take a bit rest too.
In such cases people look for easy yet tasty recipes for their family.
Since I am sailing in the same boat, I would like to share with you all a tasty chutney recipe which goes well with rice, dosa and chapati as well.
It requires very minimum ingredients and can be prepared within 15 minutes.

Below are the ingredients required to prepare this dish.
Ingredients
1. Tomatoes - 4 big tomatoes
2. Curd - 1 cup thick
3. Salt - as per your taste
4. Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
5. Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
6. Hing - 1 teaspoon
7. Oil - 4 tablespoons
8. Green chili - 3 finely chopped
9. Curry leaves - a few
10. Methi - 1 teaspoon
Procedure
1.Wash tomatoes nicely and cut them into small pieces.
2.Place a kadai on stove, add 2 tablespoons of oil and heat it for a minute.
3.Next add tomatoes, half spoon of salt and a pinch of turmeric and stir them nicely.
4.Cover the kadai with a lid and cook the tomatoes till they turn soft and mushy on medium flame.
5.Once tomatoes turns soft, dish them out into a plate.
6.Now in the same kadai, add 2 tablespoons of oil and heat it for a minute.
7. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
8. Once spluttering is over , add green chillies curry leaves and methi seeds and fry them nicely.
9. Finally add some hing and switch of the stove.
10. Let the tadka/ popu to cool down completely.
11. Now take a big mixing bowl. Add required amount of thick curd.
12. Now to the curd , add cooked tomato mixture and mix them nicely.
13. Adjust salt as per your taste .
14. Now to the same mixture , add tadka and give it a nice stir.
15. Dish the chutney into a serving bowl and serve it to your family.
That's it tasty and healthy tomato curd chutney is ready to eat.
Since we used very less amount of oil, even people under diet also can give it a try.
And curd will give a cooling effect to your tummy in this summer.
