I am
Jagruthi Maruvada, author of this blog, hailing from Visakhapatnam, a beautiful
and peaceful city in Andhra Pradesh.
I am an
optimistic person with zeal and enthusiasm to learn new things. Apart from writing this blog, I love to spend
my time reading books (my friends actually call me a bookworm), playing with my
cute little angel, learn new recipes from my grandmother and exploring new
places with my family.
My main
motto to start this blog is to share traditional Andhra recipes which I am
learning from my mother, grandmother and mother – in – law. There are many healthy
and nutritious traditional recipes which are fading out and are being replaced
by fast foods or instant foods which cause obesity and many health problems in
individuals.
I want to
continue their legacy of transferring their culinary knowledge to next
generations by learning all the healthy recipes from my ma and grandma and share
it with my daughter when she grows big.
In this
journey of learning I understood that due to our hectic work schedules we are
eating just to satisfy our hunger but forgetting to eat healthy food.
So through
my blog I want to share those fading out traditional Andhra recipes and inspire
others also to cook and eat healthy nutritious food.
